I’m an Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). My expertise and experience lie mainly in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) but intersect heavily with Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Gamification. My research focuses on how immersive technologies and intelligent systems can augment human learning, creativity, and performance. My teaching spans a broad range of computer science topics and is deeply informed by my research endeavours.
I lead the Centre for Immersification, an applied research lab that bridges academia and industry to inform the design of impactful immersive experiences. The most up-to-date information about my work can perhaps be found there. My publications can be found on Google Scholar.
Outside of work, I’m a keen cyclist, coffee enthusiast, and a believer in open, accessible technology for learning and creativity.
I’m in the process of transitioning to this site, so it is still a work in progress.
